Kocain Cave is one of the most important caves reflecting the history and archeology of Antalya and its surroundings with its monumental stalactites and stalagmites, natural history, prehistoric finds and legible inscriptions. Archaeological research continues in the cave, which was first discovered in 1919. The entrance of the cave, which is a natural wonder with its huge stalactites and stalagmites and white formations, is approximately 20 meters high and 75 meters wide. Its length is 633 meters and it consists of two large halls with its main lines, the ceiling height reaches 80 meters in places. From the legible inscriptions of the cave, which sheds light on the archeology of the region from the Prehistoric Period to the Byzantine Period, it is understood that it had a religious function in the early Christian period as well.
